So Matt and I are moving at the end of June/beginning of July.
This is kind of a big deal because I've lived in Salem since THIRD GRADE.
I don't know what to expect.
I've never had to make new friends and learn new streets,
find a new coffee shop or grocery store,
not be in school (okay but PTL for this),
etc etc etc.

The task of re-decorating.
It is so exciting but let's be honest, I have no idea what I'm doing.

  1. Oh, moving can be exciting but tough. I pray that you guys are moving for exciting reasons and that God will open doors for you both!

  2. Congrats on moving. That is so exciting! It will probably be hard at first first but the excitement of living somewhere new and being graduated should out way it.

  3. if you need moving help/advice, i'm your girl. :) we moved 6 times in the last 2.5 years. :) and it's okay if you freak out when you first get there! i was really excited to move to oregon and then when we actually got here and got to our empty new place, i started crying and felt extremely overwhelmed and alone. but it gets better. and the good news is you're not moving that far away, so if you need to come to town for the weekend and see familiar faces, you can! :)

  4. moving is an exciting but scary thing! I haven't ever ha to do it for a long term time, but i am sure it will be an adventure! good luck with collecting new ideas for your home, thats always fun :)

  5. how exciting!! decorating is definitely so much fun, the best part is you don't have to know what you're doing...bc you can constantly change things! we've been in our house 11 months and still have a lot of decorating to do!

  6. I moved away from my home with my husband 7 months ago.. it's been hard but so stretching (in good ways). You will learn so much in your marriage and about your relationship with the Lord. Also, I totally thought my friends and I coined "PTL"... I'm impressed.

  7. Moving away is so exciting. I completely understand your feeling daunted too, I was exactly the same, but all the decorating.. You'll have so much fun :)
